If a file will not convert, these four details usually identify the cause immediately:
- Your browser and version, and whether it is desktop or mobile.
- What device produced the file — iPhone model, camera, or software.
- The file size and dimensions if you know them.
- What you saw — the exact message in the file row, or a description of what happened.
Please do not attach personal photographs. If the problem is specific to one file, describe it or send something visually uninteresting that reproduces the same failure.
Corrections
Operating systems change, Store listings move, and menu paths get renamed. If a step in a guide no longer matches what you see on screen, that is worth reporting — include the page and the version of the software you are using.
What this site cannot help with
- Recovering deleted photographs, or repairing genuinely damaged files beyond what the diagnosis page covers.
- Apple, Microsoft or Google account problems — those need the vendor's own support.
- Bulk conversion of very large archives, which is a job for desktop software rather than a browser.
